The Wrangell Chamber of Commerce is proud to support a Partnership for a Tobacco Free Southeast.
The Wrangell Chamber of Commerce became tobacco and e-cigarette free on December 1, 2016 for all their owned and leased properties which includes the pavilion located in the center of town. “It was important for the Chamber of Commerce as a professional courtesy to our community to provide and support a healthy environment. By passing a tobacco free policy, I feel that we have made a positive statement that each of our community member’s health is important,” stated Tracy Churchill, current Wrangell Chamber of Commerce Board Member. Establishing a tobacco-free policy the Chamber reduces the risks associated with tobacco use will create a healthy environment for the public, volunteers, employees, visitors, vendors and clients.
