HOW TO GET HERE:

64 flies daily to Wrangell northbound from Seattle, Washington U.S.A.
and Alaska Airlines flight 65 flies daily
to Wrangell southbound from Juneau, Alaska.
Alaska
Marine Highway System has scheduled ferry service to the island.
Smaller commercial inter-island flights and water taxis are available
as well.
Central Southeast's new inter-island ferry, the MV Stikine in now online! Additional information can be accessed at www.interislandferry.com The northern
route will run between Wrangell, Coffman Cove and Petersburg.
MARINERS: Wrangell is the perfect destination for visitors traveling on
private or commercial vessels. Wrangell has 4 modern harbors; Reliance,
Inner Reliance, Shoemaker and recently completed Heritage Harbor in addition
to City Summer Float to accommodate transient vessels. Larger vessels can
moor at City Dock or Mill Dock.
The Port of Wrangell has a variety of marine
services such as fuel service, boat ramps, grids and hoist, a newly
constructed boat haul out, professional
marine repair and shipwright services such as aluminum fabrication
and engine repair. Our harbors feature a total of 500 berths and
can accommodate
vessels up to 1000 feet.
Visitors will find public restrooms,
showers, laundramats and telephones conveniently located near most
harbors. There are well-stocked grocery
stores with
delivery service, liquor stores, hardware store, gift shops, internet
cafes, fast food and espresso stands, cafes and restaurants. Wrangell's
Harbor moorage rates are competitive and electricity and water is available.

LOCAL WEATHER:
MEETINGS AND CONVENTIONS: Wrangell is an excellent and inspiring meeting
location. The community has state of the art facilities to host a variety
of meetings and conventions. There are both public and private meeting
spaces. Meeting service providers include catering, transportation, accommodations

ON YOUR CRUISE TO WRANGELL: The cruiser
has a limited time in Wrangell. Fortunately, most attractions are within
walking distance
or a short taxi
ride away!
Wrangell has a laid-back island atmosphere which makes the port extremely
unique from other Alaska ports of call. Most likely, your cruise ship will
be the only ship in town unless a small 80 passenger yacht is moored at
the other harbor.
Wrangell is an authentic and naturally
developed, working town. You will
see residents going about their daily business grocery shopping, taking
the dog or kids for a walk, visiting the library or going to check
their mail at the post office.
SHOPPING AND GALLERIES
YES, YES, YES, there is shopping in
Wrangell! We have over 19 shops and 2 galleries that sell a variety of gift items and souvenirs. A vendor
shelter is located next to the cruise ship or City Dock where local artisans
will be selling their wares and local kids sell Wrangell Garnets. There
are several shops located off of "Front Street" so make sure to look for "gift
shop" signs.
There are a variety of shore excursions that are offered in the Port of
Wrangell both on and off the island.

Accommodations range from quaint B & B's to lodges, hotels, cabins,
hostel, and campgrounds for tent camping, public and private R.V. parks.
The town has several restaurants, delis, fast food, espresso shops & ice
cream parlors. Visitor will find delicious local seafood on most menus.
