Quality of Life

Wrangell has small town charm and is a close knit community with excellent outdoor activities. “Mother Nature” is right out our back door!

The community boasts clean air, water, streets, and safe neighborhoods. It is a full service community with great health care facilities, modern communication systems as well as dependable and regular air and water transportation to and from the island. Wrangell is rural and remote but easily accessible.

Winters are mild with some snow and temperatures in the 20's and 30's. Summers are cool with light winds. Wrangell gets about 80 inches of rain a year.
